Sneaky Stones Moral Story

Sneaky Stones Moral Story

A long time ago, a craftsman went to find a stone in the forest to make an idol. He found a very good stone there. He was very happy to see that and said that it is very right to make the idol.

When he was coming, he found another stone. He also took that stone with him. On his way home, he picked up the stone and started working on it with his tools.

When the tools were hit on the stone, the stone started saying, "Leave me, it is hurting me a lot." If you hurt me, I will fall apart. You make an idol on some other stone.

The craftsman was pity on hearing the stone. He left the stone and started making the idol with another stone. That stone did not say anything. In some time the craftsman made a very good idol of that stone.

The people of the village came to collect the idol after it was built. They thought that we would need another stone to break the coconut. He also took the first stone kept there with him. Taking away the idol, he decorated it in the temple and placed the same stone in front of it.

Now whenever a person comes to visit the temple, he would worship the idol with flowers, bathe with milk and burst coconut on that stone. When people would burst coconut on that stone, they would get very upset.

He was in pain and he would scream but no one was going to listen to him. That stone talked to the stone made of the idol and said that you are very happy people worship you. Bathing you with milk and offering laddus.

But my luck is bad, people burst coconut on me. On this, the stone made idol said that if the craftsman was doing the work on you, if you did not stop him at that time, you would have been in my place today.

But you chose the easy path, so now you are suffering. That stone was understood as a stone made of idol. He said that from now on I will not complain. After this people would come and burst coconut on it.

Due to the breaking of coconut, coconut water would fall on it and now people started offering the idol to Prasad on that stone.

Moral of the Story:

We should never be afraid of difficult situations
