On October 15, 1931, A. A. in the house of a fisherman in Dhunshkodi village of Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu . P.J. Abdul Kalam was born. His full name was Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam. He was the youngest child of jainulabiddin and Ashiamma.

Abdul Kalam's father used to take care of his family by renting a boat to fishermen. Abdul Kalam ji had three elder brothers and 1 sister. Abdul Kalam ji had to struggle a lot from the beginning as the house's financial condition was not good.

But he never bothered with these difficulties but kept moving forward with true determination and honesty and later he achieved immense successes in his life.

After this APJ Abdul Kalam, in the year 1950, he completed his graduation in Physics from St. Joseph's College, Tiruchirapalli. He then did a diploma in aeronautical engineering from the Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1954 to 1957.

In this way he continued his studies under difficult conditions, and later the highest post of the country was elevated to the post of President and made APJ Abdul Kalam’s mark as India's most famous scientist.

APJ Abdul Kalam, a man of amazing talent, started his career as a scientist in the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) after completing his studies. Always wanting to do something new and big, APJ Abdul Kalam left his influence on the people by designing a small helicopter at the beginning of his scientific career.

At the same time, after working for a few days, he was also a member of the Indian Committee for Space Research. Then in the year 1962 he joined important organization of India- Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Then from 1962 to 1982, he was associated with this research and held many important positions. After this Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was appointed as the Director of Satellite Launch Vehicle Project in India.

APJ Abdul Kalam, while holding the post of project director here, built his first indigenous satellite launch vehicle SLV-3 in India, which was set up near the Earth's orbit in the year 1980. After this success of Kalam ji, he was made a member of the International Space Club of India.

This was the time when Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Azad along with Dr. VS Arunachalam formulated the proposal for Integrated Guided Missile Development Program (IGMDP). Apart from this, a committee for the development of indigenous missiles was also formed under the chairmanship of Azad Saheb. At the same time, the emphasis was on making a limited and medium range missile. After this, the emphasis was on building earth-to-air anti tank missiles and the Reintree Experiment Launch Vehicle (Rex).

In 1988, Prithvi in ​​1988, Trishul in 1985 and 'Agni' missile were tested in 1988 under the leadership of visionary Kalam ji. Apart from this, missiles named Akash, Nag were also made under the chairmanship of APJ Abdul Kalam.

In 1998, APJ APJ Abdul Kalam along with Russia started India to set up Brahros Private Limited to work on making supersonic cruise missile. Let us tell you that Brahros is such a missile, which can be fired anywhere on the sky, earth and sea. In the same year he collaborated with the heart physician Soma Raju to develop a cheaper "coronary stent", which was named the Kalam-Raju stent.
